Hi again,
I'm using the latest MMA (inc. beta) on my Galaxy A54 5G, and MMW 4.1.31.1919.
Curiously, the sync issue I previously had has been fixed, but there's also another issue I have.
I cannot change choose the sync content in-app (e.g. select playlist, albums, etc, to sync); I can only do it through MMW.
If I attempt to do it on Android, I get the message - "Since this is your first time connecting to the server...", although I do get a notification in-app that I'm connected to the server. After a little while, it either says "Downloading sync setting failed: SD Card", or an Access Denied message.
I can, however, browse the same sync server as a Media Server without any issue whatsoever!
Captured a couple of log IDs, hopefully they'll be useful to you:

Re: Cannot choose sync content in-app
Hi,
Can you try to replicate using latest MM5.1 (install as portable if needed).

Hi, thanks for replying!
I just tried with MM5 - it seemed to work initially, but then didn't!

Re: Cannot choose sync content in-app
Curiously, I downloaded Mediamonkey from Amazon Apps on Windows 11 (it is MMA 1, not MMA 2); again, I can sync, but cannot choose what to sync from the app itself.
Which gets me thinking, it may not be the app, but my library database (as it is seems not to work on either MM4 or MM5).
I have done both a Quick and Complete optimisation in MM4, but no luck.
Is there a recommended programme that I can run the MM.DB file through to clear any errors?

Re: Cannot choose sync content in-app
Another update: I deleted a few of the Media Tree items I had... and it seems to have fixed the issue. Something wasn't happy with me on that front!
So - for now - it seems fixed. Will update if anything changes. Cheers!

Re: Cannot choose sync content in-app
Note, that in the Media Server you need to select content to be shared. If nothing is selected you can't browse the content on the device. This may have been the problem.

Re: Cannot choose sync content in-app
I did check that - I could browse through everything perfectly fine in "Media Server" mode, just not in the Sync Settings.
What it could have been, I'm thinking, is perhaps a renamed or missing playlist in one or more of the collections I'd made in the Media Tree. MMW is MUCH faster and responsive now.
I only wish I had've thought of that before reinstalling Mediamonkey on my phone - it's taken the whole day to scan 48,000 tracks - and I think there's still another 20, 000 to go!
Thanks for all your help!
