I've upgraded to build 2606 and see no difference in behavior. Is that the result of the "Simplified List" vs "List" problem?

Yes, that's it.
I have already notified "Drakinite".

Are you using "portable" with NAS or external hard drive?

I'm sure this is more information than you want, but ...

So far I am just testing MMW5 - portable installation is on an internal hard drive.
The eventual MMW5 implementations (and my current MMW4 implementations):
  • multiple USB flash drive containing MM and a music library (maintained and kept current)
  • hard drive implementations of MM and music library on 3 laptops (unmaintained - backup if flash drive is unavailable
  • hard drive implementations of MM and music library on a desktop (for implementation maintenance)
  • NAS implementation of MM and music library for testing, backup, and remote access.
The "real" implementation is the USB flash drive.
The backup implementations mimic the flash drive implementation.
The maintenance implementation is sync'ed onto the flash drives as needed (in MMV4, followed by execution of the UpdateLocationOfFiles script).

The maintenance version often points to the music library on the NAS.
The MM implementation on the NAS is really just a backup copy, but can be executed.

@Drakinite - Undock Playing 1.0 from 10.02.2022

Yes, I deleted the old version via AddOns before installing this version.
The "undocked" window doesn't have the same columns as "NowPlaying" - please fix it. Thanks

Apologies, I actually didn't realize it was now possible to change from Simplified List to List in the Playing panel. Should be fixed and available here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/brow ... k-playing/

I'm aware that at the moment, changing the order of columns in the popout dialog does not persist when it's closed. If that turns out to be an issue, I can try to rectify it.

I uploaded many addons to MM's addon page, but not all of those were created by me. "By drakinite, Submitted by drakinite" means I made it on my own time. "By Ventis Media, Inc., Submitted by drakinite" means it may have been made by me or another MediaMonkey developer, so instead of crediting/thanking me, please thank the team. You can still ask me for support on any of our addons.

Hi, Drakinite,

As a consolation, the columns can now be removed/added.
Thank's.

Seems I was a bit hasty: It doesn't work so perfect yet.

You can now indeed add columns, change the width and update the track fields. However when you close the undocked play list and then restart, all the column settings made seem to have disappeared again.
