When playing video the audio is lagging by a fraction of a second. It is subtle, but noticeable, especially when there is some action timed with audio for dramatic effect.
MMW version 4.1.0.1686 running on Windows 7
Tried normal install and portable install, no difference
upgraded the codec pack to 2.1.1.103 and behavior is the same
This does not happen with 4.0.7.1511

Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
It is played from a network disk, but that is also the case for correct playback with 4.0.7.1511. DB is local, files on NAS
I have noticed this behavior with all formats in my library: .flv, mp4, .mkv, .mov, .avi
I will install the debug version and send a log.

Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
I have submitted a debug log with ticket KQO-497547
Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
Have you tried the newer codecs? That has taken care of almost all of the sync issues i have had.

Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
It is VERY subtle. Unless you are looking for it, with dialogue you probably would not notice. But with something like percussion it becomes obvious to me. Watching a drummer in a video I can really pick out that the audio is slightly behind the video.
Edit to add: I just found this downloadable video that makes it very easy to gauge whether or not audio/video is in sync http://www.theonlineengineer.org/TheOLE ... c-testing/ I downloaded the HD version. Based on this I am seeing that audio is 16 frames late (beep occurs on the fourth dark bar after the white bar).
Edit a second time to add: I have rolled back to 4.0 and using this test the audio and video are perfectly in sync.

Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
Is anyone willing to play the test video I linked to in my previous post and share what they experience?
Re: audio slightly out of sync with video
Thanks for additional info, I've reproduced it.
