Since a couple of days, I've switched from Express VPN to NordVPN. But since then, the WIFI sync doesn't work anymore.
when using MMW and going to Tools --> Options --> Media Sharing, it shows that the MediaMonkey Library server name is enabled and running, with a random VPN IP (100.69.xx.x:xxxx). But when I go to MMA and try to select a server, it says that there is no sync server selected and Saved media server is inaccessible. Also, the IP adress what is showing in MMA, is different than that from MMW (http://192.168.xxx.xx:xxxxx/DeviceDescription.xml).
Scanning the QR code from the MMW Tools --> Options --> Media Sharing --> Server to MMA does autofill the Sync configuration wizard, but still the server shows Saved media server is inaccessible.
I was already trying to check the following steps with:
https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... rk-at-all/
https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ccessible/
But I'm totally not a network expert, so hopefully one you devs have some experience with NordVPN or just VPN for that matter. Any help would be appreciated.
No more WIFI sync with NordVPN

Re: No more WIFI sync with NordVPN
Hi,
This is known issue with many VPN clients where LOCAL LAN/WLAN access is filtered and PC using VPN Client have access only to internet not to Local Network devices like TVs, NAS, .... nor can be accessed over Local Network (shared folders, MM sync, ...).
Unfortunately each client have own settings for that, I guess for NordVPN this should help you enable Local access.
The solution would be that you have dedicated main router and setup NordVPN there. Where all LAN/WLAN devices will be behind NordVPN Connections without a need for setting VPN clints.
All explained HERE
