To protect your privacy choose another folder

I'm trying to chose the whole folder or just the whole phone memory why can't I?

Android 11+ have increased privacy/security requirements that Google is enforcing. Because of that MMA no longer has full access to an entire storage location/SD card--instead you must choose specific directories that MediaMonkey will have full access to.

The downside is more configuration upfront. The upside is that MediaMonkey only has access to the folders that you want it to have access to.
