Milkshake Visualization screen goes blank

is there a setting I am missing? I look at the visualizations while on my workout bike

Which Build (Help > About) of MediaMonkey and which version of Windows are you using? Do other visualizations also fail?

Thanks for your help. Win 10 all latest updates, latest mm5. 2 monitors, mm4 and mm5 on same machine. No failures on mm4.

Line Fade visuaziation (both in full screen) also ends
Visulatiion only runs on 1 monitor

Can you try running MediaMonkey_NoGPU.bat and see if that solves it.

Hi,
Looks like nVidia dropped driver support for 730 GT some time ago and is listed as legacy GPU, that can result the newer drivers fail to install on newer versions of Windows (See below) or create issues due the lack of GPU API Support. May I suggest to try specific drivers that made toi support the card eg. https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 600/en-us/ or https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 601/en-us/ or https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverR ... 555/en-us/ and see if that fixes your problem. Black Screens are usually driver issue where GPU needs to take over the more complex rendering like visualization.

I finally got to test on a laptop. MM5 worked fine. Its my machine. Sorry for the trouble

Setting up new Win 11 Laptop with MM5. Tried a bunch of things starting with C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey 5\MediaMonkey_NoGPU.bat. I ran this as administrator, it says MediaMonkey.exe not found. I guess you don't need admin access for this START MediaMonkey.exe --use-gl=swiftshader. I use the visualization's when I work out. I do not know what to try next. I will run a debug version etc. This is a brand new database.
