Why isn't it possible to search/filter on comments?

Although "Comment" appears as one of the available fields in the Query Setting dialog box, attempting to filter or search on a text string in the Comment field has no effect. This is frustrating since I often like to use Comments to indicate whether a track is new or whether it has been backed up to a cd.

Thanks for reporting it. There is a bug in the current release, it is already corrected and will be released with the next version.

Currently there is no plan to release any new build of the current version, instead a brand new version is being prepared with a lot of new features (OGG encoding, Equalizer, many UI improvements, ...). Because of that, it takes some time, but at least some alpha/beta versions should be out in few (4?) weeks.
