Hi,
I'm using Media Monkey 5.0.4.2693 on Windows 11.
If there are titles or artists with an '-' in, that causes showing parts of the title/artist as an album, even it's not in the tags.
Examples:
Title "20-0-3" results in the album "20" in the database.
Artist "B-52's" results in the album "52's" in the database.
When editing the properties within Media Monkey the album field is filled with the newly created "album". Removing it does help until the next refresh of the list or change of the view.
The MP3's don't hold that album. Both examples show an empty entry.
Is it a bug or did I selected some option that causes this?
Thank you.
Geert.

That's not a bug if tags are empty. In that scenario MediaMonkey guesses tags and - is commonly used as a delimiter of tags in Folder/filenames. You can disable this by disabling Infer properties.

Hi,
If you want more precise answer on your example can you please copy/paste full path for track from track properties?

I have found the option. Would never have guessed that this one was the cause.
Thank you.
