V1101 scanning issue

v1101, main screen, Scanning files into the library - Folders, primary music. What is this about?

It must have been a one time thing. It has not happened again.

OK. Just fyi, there was a minor change in recent builds re. scanning: if the count of Media files in the DB doesn't match the count of media files in the folder then MM rescans the folder. So such a discrepancy might have been detected and a scan initiated.

I am curious. How would this happen - the count being different?

If another app saved/removed a media file in a folder monitored by MMA.
