I have figured out how to do it but. Is it possible to just transfer a m3u file not all the actual MB of the tracks as i don't have space on my device to do this.
Thanks Si
I'm using the pc to do the transfer through a usb cable.

Hi,
No unfortunately, you can't send just playlists on sync with MMW unless tracks are already on device from previous syncs.

I have synced all the tracks from the playlist from my pc to the phone on the inital first sync.Peke wrote:Hi,

Then i tried to sync all playlists and it said there isn't enough room even though the memory has 23gb left. Which i understand as it is duplicating tracks and trying to sync them over.
Re: Transferring playlists onto android app
Did MMW (with the current Library) sync the tracks and did you use Auto-Sync to sync the Playlists afterwards?
Also, which version of MMW, MMA and Android and are you doing a wifi or USB sync?

Re: Transferring playlists onto android app
I just joined this Forum because I am planning on acquiring Media Monkey.
My Plan and hope was to:
1) Download Media Monkey 1st on my Windows PC and create several Playlist.
2) I was going to copy the same (base) Music Library ~ 860 Songs from PC to and SD Card and insert in my Android phone.
3) I am interpreting from this string / discussion that I should make sure I have adequate space on my SD card.
4) if I do this, will this work?
5) I was attracted to Media Monkey because I see that I can run it on both a Windows PC and Android Phone.
I had assumed that I could create Playlist and send them to my Android Phone.
Will this work, (if I have the same base library on an SD Card) of my Android Phone?
This is a feature that I had assumed would work with Media Monkey.
Thank you for the anticipated Response / Tips, etc.

You can Sync from MMW to MMA directly including media files and Playlists.

Or a little bit longer answer:
Yes, your assumptions are right, Mediamonkey can do all of this. I wouldn't do step 2 though, instead leave your SD card in the phone and and do the sync by Wifi (initiate in MMA on the phone, select SD card), this will copy all your songs to the phone and is much easier and will avoid some complications.
