I understand your problem and i understand that you are not happy with this issue.misterioso wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 5:06 amI don't keep full albums in my library. If I like only 4 songs in a 10 song album, I'll discard the 6 songs I don't like if I've ripped a complete album. If I buy music online, I often buy single tracks instead of full albums.crap_inhuman wrote: ↑Sun Jul 12, 2020 6:10 pm
The problem is, that you don't tag all songs from a release. If you only choose i.E. 4 songs for tagging, but the album have 10 songs, you need to deselect all other songs in the upper part of the Tagger window.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but i need to change this for better compatibility.
In the examples that I provided, I am attempting to tag less songs than what shows on the album's published playlist, because that's all the songs in my library.
Discogs v5.74 doesn't seem to be bothered by how many songs I'm trying to tag. Whether I'm feeding it 4 out of 10 songs or 10 out of 10 songs, it accurately retrieves the correct metadata for each song from Discogs.
I changed the matching of the songs, cause with the old matching method there are problems with some albums, i.E. an album with multiple songs having the same songname.
Give me some time, maybe i can add an option to change the matching method.
