By Default MediaMonkey shares my Audiobooks and music collection.
But I have another collection I want to share, too. Sadly it doesn't work, even I checked the collections.
At my Laptop and with MMA I see just the Default ones. At my Laptop I am using MMW5, maybe that's the problem?

Re: Media Sharing Collections
Have you tried restarting MediaMonkey? Which version of MediaMonkey are you using as server? Maybe you setup custom sharing rules per client which would override the settings for the server.

Thank you very much Lowlander.
That was the trick. I must have installed the server service. I uninstalled it and now everything is fine.

Re: Media Sharing Collections
When running MediaMonkey as Service make sure it's run as the same Windows User as you're modifying settings for as MediaMonkey settings are per Windows User.

Re: Media Sharing Collections
Why do MM has two servers? Library and Server? Do I need both?
I try this, thank you.Lowlander wrote:When running MediaMonkey as Service make sure it's run as the same Windows User as you're modifying settings for as MediaMonkey settings are per Windows User.

Re: Media Sharing Collections
That's leftover for those who started with early release of MediaMonkey 4. You only need 1 server now.
