Forcing Relative Paths - Basic Question

When I select "force relative paths" in the device syncing options, do I still need to manually delete the drive name from the file name pathways, in order to sync playlists to the root directory of the card?

Not if you let MediaMonkey sync the Playlists. If you manually copy Playlist you may need to.
