Shuffle playback has stopped functioning on all of my device

I have purchased MediaMonkey pro which has worked perfectly until Saturday afternoon. Then all of a sudden both of my Android devices will only play files in repeat when I click on the icon that is supposed to cause the tracks to play in shuffle.

Wha? Someone tell me what's going on?

Which version of MMA are you referring to the Shuffle button on the Now Playing screen?

Both devices show version 1.0.7.0313 for the regular mma 1.0.5 for mma-pro

There is no shuffle button on the now playing screen. Only on the main Tracks screen. That icon is the one that looks like shuffle, and the app says playing in 'shuffle all' but it only repeats the same tracks. This happens on both devices.

That Shuffle adds tracks shuffled to the Now Playing (that's it).

Shuffle itself is a separate setting. Tap the Artwork on the Now Playing screen to reveal the Shuffle and Repeat button. Then make sure Shuffle is enabled.

Why did that setting change on both of my devices at the same time?

Nothing has changed as far as I know. This is how it's worked for a long time.

btw, to explain the Shuffle button that appears at the top of the screen, it's a 'Play tracks that appear in the current view in random order' button. Whereas 'shuffle mode' which can be enabled in the Now Playing view causes tracks that are in the Now Playing list to be played in random order.

I absolutely love the shuffle function!!

it is a feature that is used every day for my commute to work.
