This got me too because I was uncertain what bookmarking did.. to fix:

Tools -->
Options -->
Playback rules-->

then "uncheck" bookmarking"

Frequently, when I click the time (status) bar to jump to another time segment of the song currently played playing, Media Monkey opens an internet browser to Amazon.com as if to sell me the song...
