RC3 - How to turn off MM5 from prompting disc media
I use a different program to rip cds ... since the new RC3 MM prompts me with Metadata for the cd entered. How do i turn this new thing off?

It's always done this if you have multiple results for the disc entered. I don't think MMW5 has a way to disable this.

I agree that this desirable.
I think that you can turn it off if an MM install has tried to assert control here.
Check your Windows settings here.
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.

Hi,
That is just for default AutoPlay on CD insert, FreeDB Auto search Can't be disabled, but you can enter false Server under tools -> Options -> Library -> Metadata lookup and MM ill simply not return any results.

Maybe I have it wrong, but I think that what dtsig was asking about.
I made that change, and that stopped MM5 bugging me whenever I mount a new CD.

Re: RC3 - How to turn off MM5 from prompting disc media
Seems like I've read a post/thread somewhere on how to change an INI setting for this, but I can't remeber.
I'm not talking about Windows Autoplay. I mean, when you have MM running and you insert an optical disc,
MM trys to detect it/load the info. I want to be able to run MM while using another program for that without it
interfering.
