iOS6 test dlls
Hi,
iOS6 compatibility is coming and an official beta build will be available soon. In the meantime, you can test compatibility via the following (this post is being updated with each successive iteration):
http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/iOS6_sync_beta1.zip
http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/iOS6_sync_beta2.zip
http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/iOS6_sync_beta3.zip
New builds appear at: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 54426&sd=d
Just unzip, and replace the original files that came with MediaMonkey with the 2 new ones.
Please share your feedback in this forum. Thanks!

I just tested these on my newly upgraded iPhone - copied an album over no problem.rusty wrote:Hi,

Those are the correct folders. For me no Apple device is detected with the new dll's (check under Tools > Options > Portable/Audio Devices to see if any are listed).

Re: iOS6 test dlls
beta2 worked fine on my test iphone 4.
Make sure you're putting each DLL in the right separate folder.
As the upgrade to iOS6 just hosed my main iphone, I'm having to do a full iOS restore, which no doubt will be followed by having to resync with MediaMonkey..

Re: iOS6 test dlls
beta3 should resolve the problems that some of you experienced with beta 2.

Re: iOS6 test dlls
1500 songs later and the copy looks good for me using beta2
Re: iOS6 test dlls
On first sync with beta 3 to iOS5 all Playlists are missing significant amounts of tracks. Removing a track per Playlist in iTunes (10.6) fixes the issue.

Re: iOS6 test dlls
My results:
iPad 2 with iOS 6 = Works perfectly
iPhone 4 with iOS 5 = Works perfectly
Have not tested the iPhone 4 with iOS 6 because I don't want to lose my jailbreak.

Re: iOS6 test dlls
I just updated my iPod touch 4th gen to iOS 6 and installed the new iTunes. I'm currently using the beta3 dlls to copy music to my iPod. So far I haven't noticed any issues other than it taking a lot longer to copy than before.

Re: iOS6 test dlls
I installed the 2 beta-3 dlls. It appeared like everything was working... sync was taking an appropriate amount of time, MediaMonkey shows that I have songs on my iphone after the process is through, but it can't play any of the songs... it's as if it think the songs are invalid or something. Then, on the iphone itself, it says that I have no music installed.
This is with Windows 7 64-bit, AT&T iphone 4s, and iOS 6.
