Local websites in web node?

Post by Lowlander »

Are there any plans to change the websites in the web node to local versions when certain languages are chosen?

This might enable people to purchase stuff.

The problem is with big languages like spanish which might have several country sites available.

I think that this could be quite nice feature, however rather than making it a part of localization package, I'd prefer to wait until content of web nodes is updated on-line from MediaMonkey servers. Then the content could also be supplied according to the language selected.

True, certainly better.

just make sure you have enough bandwidth available before running thru MM servers.

Anyway was just a thought.

I think that serving sites would be a good idea. I also agree with Lowlander that this should be more location-specific than language-specific. This is an issue not only in Spanish but also in English (there are users in UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc...).
