many tracks list the same genre two times in the genre field

Not sure how I did this (got too clever, I'm sure) but many tracks (many hundreds of tracks) now list the same genre two times in the genre field. For example: "On-U Sound; Dub; Dub;"
It's not really a problem, but the OCR in me can't help but fret about it.
Is there a trick to clean this up easily?

Menu: VIEW> Show Details
Sort the Column "Genre" in ascending order
Select the relevant files
right-mouse-click ... genre ...

Thanks Lowlander. RegExp would definitely help but still will take a long time. I wondered if there was a simpler trick. It seems MMW will fix the Genres when I edit any tag in the track, but it's still slow going.

Ooh! I figured it out. I used RegExp to copy the Genre field to another expendable field (I used Mood). This process removed the duplicate entries. Then I used RegExp again to copy the expendable field (I used Mood) back to the Genre field.
Fixed!
