Auto-Tag Box Freezes when attempting to Resize only

Dell XPS-435/9000, i7 -960, 3 MB L3 Cache, 3.2 GHz, 12 GB SDRAM, standard DVD-CD-+R
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 Video Card, Driver 8.741.0.0 (5-27-2010)
Standard Dell 24" HD Screen, Soundblaster® X-Fi™ Titanium Audio

Run > Tools > Auto-Tag from Filename, dialogue appears, operations completes, you are able to resize by pulling edges or using min/max butons.

Do the same thing, but Auto-Tag from Web, operation completed you can minimize by button, but if you attempt to resize by pulling sides,
the dimension freezes, minimize button works, max button is disabled, close button puts the Auto-Tag Box into freeze.

Main program is not effected, continues to play audio, etc, but Auto-Tag screen becomes model across computer, and all other software,
until you close it. Since it is not a program crash, no crash report turns up

The work around is to set the dimensions of teh Auto-Tax box via "Auto-Tag from Filename" and dimensions will be remembered using web auto -tag.

I have also seen the same behavior. Everything else I use works fine. If you resize the Auto-tag from Web window, the UI thread hangs every time.

MediaMonkey Gold - Lifetime, version 3.2.4.1304
Windows 7 Ultimate x64, SP1
IE9 9.0.8112.16421 RTM

Sounds like a hotfix opportunity.

Same Issue. Used the Autotag from filename fix and NEVER AGAIN resize on Autotag from web.

Oh yeah - I have IE9 but use Firefox 4.0 as default.

This topic is a couple of months old, but I think it won't hurt if I bring it up again...

I have the very same problem with the "Autotag from Web" dialog. I'm running MediaMonkey 3.2.5.306 on Windows 7 HP, and I do have IE 9 installed.

Does this mean that I have to go down to 3.2.4.something in order to fix this problem?

No you need to go up to 4.0, currently in beta in the Beta forum.

well, going up to MM 4 may fix the problem, but it creates another one...which is that my MM Gold is no longer valid and I have to purchase again the program. So you have to choose...pay for an upgrade that may not be needed or live with a bug in version 3.

If you have a Lifetime license your license will work with MediaMonkey 4. If you purchased a 3.x license within a year of MediaMonkey 4's final release you may qualify for a free upgrade, so keep an eye out for that once MediaMonkey 4 is released.

Works fine for me. Please submit a debug log.
