Re: Media Server Appears & Disappears nonstop!
My desktop is named 'Monolith' and so I have named the big .db there 'mm-monolith.db'. I did a Full Optimize and copied this db to my laptop 'Jupiter8', where I have just done some experiments. MMW 4.1.15.1830 is installed here in Jupiter8 as both 'regular' (C: drive) and portable (D: drive) version...

Re: Media Server Appears & Disappears nonstop!
I have the same problem! MMW 4.1.15.1830, Windows 8.1, happens on both my laptop and desktop. Both PCs do have two NICs.

Re: Add/Rescan does not display results
This problem just happened to me, and the .ini edit worked - many thanks. This is inconsistent: I see in the Scan Results dialog box the "Don't Show this again" checkbox, but no place in Options>Library a way to undo the results of clearing that checkbox. That is, the only way to undo this...

Re: Auto-Complete on Multiple Actors
Yes, I have the same problems when tagging Actors in my movies. yes, I use the semicolon delimiter. Screenwriters field also has same problem! Autotag-from-web only helps with some fields and rare is the movie that has all the data I need. A note here on my exceedingly-manual-but-I-can't-figure-out-...

Re: 1.1.3.0491: Grant access to SDcard not working [#12918]
In my phone, Samsung Galaxy S4 running MMA Pro latest version, I see the spinning sync 'wheel' going on and on, but I am able to navigate and play my files. I then did try clearing Cache and Data for the MMA app. When launched, it behaved as new install (as expected), I got the "welcome, you've...

Re: MM Window Size Changes After "Run as Administrator"
Me too! I was about to post about this bug. Here is how I describe it: MMW is not set to "install as service" : Run MMW - it correctly remembers its window size and position from last time it was running, and after PC reboots. MMW is set to "install as service": First run of MMW,...

Re: Importing a movie filename with a date earlier than 1930
Strange - build 1960 is indeed working correctly for me now. Imported files named
dummymovie (1929)
aaa test one 2 (1929)
and both correctly had Properties Date field filled in with 1929.

Re: Importing a movie filename with a date earlier than 1930
Sorry, the bug isn't fixed in RC1689.
I just imported a movie file named The Younger Generation (1929).mp4.
The Date field in file properties is still blank.

Importing a movie filename with a date earlier than 1930
I can't come up with a concise-enough description of this bug to fit it all into the Subject line, but here goes: I create movie files with my Hauppage PVR. I like to include the year of release as part of the file name, examples: The Unholy Three (1925).mp4 Little Caesar (1931).mp4 711 Ocean Drive ...

Re: Import tag info (track titles) from .txt files?
Please, how can this script be bound to a shortcut key, and/or added to the right-click context menu? I need to use this script on many, many folders of untagged .flacs! This was asked by several earlier posters. I have tried a few things in the scripts.ini file, but I don't know scripting and I'm j...
