database size

The last few times I've copied my database over to a backup folder I noticed the file size has remained exactly the same, yet in that time I've added 100's of tracks and tagged with album art etc. The size of the database should have increased noticeably. Any thoughts? Should I be concerned data is somehow not being saved properly?

That's normal. Unless you do a complete optimization there are times where the database has empty space available and thus uses that before growing in file size.

Good to know, thanks. I've saved dozens of copes and each time I add tracks the database becomes noticeably larger, aside from the last couple times.
