Prevent MM creating folders on SD card

My new phone has plenty of internal storage so I've set my MM library to use internal storage. Today I added a new SD card to my phone and MM keeps creating empty folders (Playlists/Video etc).
How do I tell MM to not touch the SD card? I've tried setting the SD card's profile to 'disabled' in MM5 but that doesn't help. Do I need to delete the mask paths under 'File locations' in the SD card's profile? I just need a simple way to tell MM5 not to add any folders or files to my SD card.
