How to find artist list in Android Auto

Hi, when you have linked your phone to your car with a USB cable and are using the app on your car screen via Android Auto, how do you find a list of tracks by artist or by album please? The only list I can find seems to be individual tracks in a completely arbitrary order.
We could possibly do with a manual for this like there is for using Media Monkey for Android on your phone interface
