2418: Circle is always spinning [#18053][#18037]

I am simply playing music using Dj ... i am not scanning or anything else. But the wheel keeps on turning. If i Hover over it it just displays a blank edit line

I don't see this. Does it start again after restarting MediaMonkey?

I tried to close out MM, first stopped music. then X. I get message that there are background process do i want to terminate them. There should not be any processes. I agree and mm closes. I start again, after a wait, and it appears to be working correctly .. no circle.

I have also seen this once in 2418, are you still seeing the issue or it was random?
Might me something new introduced by fixing

OK, seems that the "Check for updates" task leaves this infinite process in 2418 (similar like volume levelling).
