Why are my posts being deleted?

I am trying to emphasize the need to backup you database and also to find out how to recover from my bad library transfer

Here is the post which was deleted. The topic was Lots of Hardwork Lost
While trying to transfer files from one drive to another I lost all of my playlists and play counts.
Lot of history and hard work lost.
I had tried to use the "Update Location of Files in Database" script when I did this transfer.
I should have done the database backup as suggested

They get moved somewhere and I can never find them

Click on your name and the use the search posts link. Or use Advanced Search and search for all topics with your username.
