I tried installing MM5 today. It launched, but it was completely nonresponsive on multiple attempts, and it stubbornly persisted even after I tried killing it in the Task Manager.
Once I got it killed for good, I uninstalled it and returned to MM4. But now I get an error message every time there's a change in the library, saying "The database file ... (version 5.0.47) isn't fully compatible with MediaMonkey 4."
The error message prevents the player from advancing to the next track on a playlist, and I can't add any new files to the library.
Any ideas how to get around this?
MM5 wouldn't work, now MM4 won't add new files

You should capture the problems with MediaMonkey 5 in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643
