Codec pack MM4 vs MM5

Hi I am using MM4 Gold and was thinking of buying the codec pack for converting to AAC for mobile sync to phone.
However, I was wondering whether it will be necessary in that case to purchase a new codec pack once MM5 comes out if I want to move to MM5 (as I assume I will)? If so, then at this stage I guess MM5 is a matter of months away so maybe it is better to just start using the MM5 Beta and codec pack instead?

Hi,

We don't have an upgrade program for the codec pack, so stick with MM5 Beta for now--it's been my go to player/manager for some time already.

Mattpollard .. I am just a user but I would suggest using MM5 also. I have been using mm5 for quite some time with the codec and except for a couple of problems .. nothing critical .. it has been playing well.
