video sync with MM and iPod Video

I have downloaded the latest MM 2.5.2.948 RC-2. when i sync my iPod video with MM it puts my videos on the iPod, but lists them as songs. when i play the "song" which really is the video it does nothing. how do i get MM to sync the videos under the video menu in the iPod.

MM doesn't yet natively support videos, we plan to do so in future versions and then also support for sychronizations of videos will be added. However, until then you have to use iTunes to synchronize videos.

is there a way to synch just the videos with iTunes and then use MM for the music without wiping out the videos?
