1708 Exit's apply of device settings change fails

1 Change device setting e.g. http://i.imgur.com/ra6lxdq.png -> http://i.imgur.com/9dLoBPv.png
2 File, Exit
3 On the dialog box http://i.imgur.com/4yy2QPC.png , click Apply
4 Launch MM
5 Inspect device settings

Expected: change applied
Observed: change lost: http://i.imgur.com/OLQSEea.png

Workaround: after 1, click Apply.

This on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, MM portable unskinned.

Note yet verified on latest MM release.
