I have Mediamonkey on my PC. All my music files are in a folder, which MM recognizes, and the playlists’ M3U files have been exported into that folder.
I have a Samsung Note 3. I want to copy that folder onto a new SD Card along with the data that is on my old SD Card, and put the new card into the phone. There is no music on the old card.
I then want to do a clean install of Mediamonkey on the phone, and indicate the location of the file in Options/Choose Library Folder/ External Storage.
Should I just place the folder on the SD Card or should I locate it in External SDCard/Android/Data/com.ventismedia.android.mediamonkey/files/?
Will this work?
Is there a better way?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Moving a folder
Depends on your version of Android. Android 4.4 is restrictive when it comes to SD card access.

Re: Moving a folder
Agreed this sucks. I also bought a cool Djay program and was hoping I could store everything in my cards /Music root folder, so MM and any other program could access...
