Windows 8.1& Touch Screen Laptop

Can any users tell me a little more about the MM Touchscreen download for MM. I understand it is available from the Windows Apps Store?
I have searched the forum and found no details or opinions as to whether this is a popular option to use with a touchscreen laptop. I would like to know to what extent the MM menu can be searched by touch, e.g I understand you can scroll and select tracks by touch, but can you delve further into the menus by touch or is it actually easier to use conventional laptop mouse buttons and touch-pad?
Finally, do you like using MM in touch mode?

MM8 is a early beta product at this point and is a full touch screen capable app.
