I have MM Android V 1.0.4.0185 on Nook HD+ w Android 4.2.2
The Album art does not update when you update it in the folder and in the files. It seems to keep "old" album art from the first or initial scanning.
I deleted a folder with music and put in new files with new album art but only the old album art shows up.
I have also uninstalled MM and re-installed MM -- still no luck.
Power Amp which I have does pick up the new artwork and I can confirm the new artwork via MP3 Tag.

Have you done a manual rescan in MMA?

Yes I did a manual scan.
I also deleted the Media Monkey folders under the Android Root artworks and files
still the artwork for this album is the old one ..

Re: Album Art Not Updating
Does the stock player see the change? MMA relies on Android Media.

Re: Album Art Not Updating
Yes I guess the stock player sees the change since Power Amp recognized it after both and auto or manual res-can of the folder/lib
Re: Album Art Not Updating
I believe that PowerAmp uses its own database unlike MediaMonkey and the stock player (for most devices) as they rely on the Android Media system.

Re: Album Art Not Updating
Well the Stock player in my Android is something called Apollo. I just started it and it does NOT see the change.
So if MM uses it's database then I can see why it would have old data.
I will see how I can delete the Stock Player's data base by going into apps and clearing out all images.
==== All in all I do like the Power Amp option of having its own database better though it makes sense to share one common database.

Re: Album Art Not Updating
An own database for MMA is something that will be looked into down the road. Note that the Android Media database is used.
