iOS 6.0.1 iPad3 won't sync

Post by starpause »

i updated my iPad3 to iOS 6.0.1 (mistake, i realize) and now it won't sync with media monkey. previously it was sycning w/o issue. when i highlight the iPad in the tree MM says i have 576 MB to sync, but when I click the sync arrows i just get "(Preparing list of files)" status for a second and then nothing.

i upgraded iTunes (10.7.0.21), re-installed the latest MM 4.0.7.1511 gold lifetime, running windows7.

any ideas for me to try? fingers crossed for a fast response. thanks!

No idea here on this from me, but check with nohitter151's ipad article it's a huge thread so might have your answer in it some place, i linked to it on the helpful messages page in my signature. I think its number 18 on that page. Or wait until a member that uses ipad shows up and helps, 8)

I believe it should be supported (not sure if iPad 3 has been tested), but it is best to send a debug log (step 4b) to support capturing the connection of the device and subsequent failed sync: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=69
