Cue Reader 5.6 - Updated 20/07/2014
Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
what do you exactly mean with "checked" ?
I've tried removing and reinstalling with a fresh download, removing and put the vbs file by myself in the mediamonkey directory, but that all ends up in the same error.
I've also opened the vbs in notepad++, that also seemed fine to my untrained eye

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
For some reason (and this has happened with the past month or two of MM4 builds), the MMIP installer copies the 1012byte style.GIF file into the place of CueReader.vbs.
Thus right after install, you get this error.
Maybe a problem with the install script of this program? or a MM problem.

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
Also the script incorrectly uses: Script.ScriptPath ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... ScriptPath )
as a place to store its file. This is the path of the installed script, which can be installed for all users, etc.
The script can be installed as administrator for all users of the system (to enable them to all use it) and in doing so the script now fails
The script should instead always write its files into the current user area irrespective of where the script is installed.

Thanks, I've added these to my list and I'll try to get them fixed in the next version.

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
One more item.
I had three files with matching CUE files. I right clicked, went 'auto-organize' and gave them a rule that organized them into a folder:
M:\Path\To\<Artist> - <Title>\<Track#> - <Title>.mp3
I got an error:
Error # 76 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error / Path Not Found / File ....CueReader.vbs Line 973, Column 19.
It looks like that gets triggered before MM makes the folder. Accordingly, CueReader should test if the destination exists and if it doesn't, make the folder.
Looking forward to the next version. Love the scripts.

I always get a Active-X security warning when playing mp3s with cues.
"An ActiveX control element of this page could be unsafe in correlation with other elements of this page. Do you want to allow it?"
Note: I translated the German message so it might not be 100% accurate.

Hmmm, that's odd. You can rename the .mmip to .zip and manually install the script, but I'll take a look at why it's not working automatically.

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
I am having the same problem. How does one manually install the script?
Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
The same for me, unable to install the script in MediaMonkey 4/Windows 7, where it was working on MM3/Windows 7. What a pity!
You're doing a real great job!
Please can you rapidly fix this problem or give us a workaround?
Thanks,

Well the message indicates that the script is looking at a GIF that has been renamed as a CUE, so I can't really fix that, no.

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
Happy new year !
On the same Windows 7 configuration :
- I try by installing a new version of MediaMonkey : 4.0.2.1462. Then installing Cue Reader 5.4. This ways I always get the error message and the plugin doesn't load.
- When I do the same, installing first an older version of MediaMonkey : 3.2.2, then the Cue Reader 5.4 plugin loads and works well.
So I guess the plugin doesn't work anymore with new versions of MediaMonkey, so need an update?
You're talking about a "renamed GIF", is there a way to identify it and fix it?

Re: Cue Reader 5.4 - Updated 08/01/2010
Hi,
I just updated my MM from Version 3 to 4.0.3.1470
(running on Windows 7)
When starting a song with a corresponding cue, I get an error.box from cue reader:
Error #70-Laufzeitfehler in Microsoft VBScript
Erlaubnis verweigert
File: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\CueReader.vbs" ,Line: 576, Column: 12
after clicking o.k. a second one:
Error executing SCript Event
Erlaubnis verweigert
The cue reader panel opens empty.
O.k. - this seems to be a rights problem. After having startet MM with administrative rights it works.
With MM3 it worked without any problems and without administrative rights.
So what can I do?
