Does anyone know where I could get a completely free piece of software which converts to MP3. In particular I want something which converts M4A to Mp3.

Thanks for your help!

Personally I would recommend MediaMonkey! :)

You can download it for free at http://www.mediamonkey.com
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.
All the code for my website and scripts is safely backed up immediately and for free using Dropbox.

Umm...I dont know if MediaMonkey supports M4a or the conversion at this time.

Or maybe it does?...

Once you download the in_mp4.dll plugin (you can search this forum to find it, or download it from the winamp website) then MM does support m4a and I used it to convert some m4a's I had into mp3, so I would have thought you'd be abel to as well.
Download my scripts at my own MediaMonkey fansite.

Google JHymn. Currently though it does not work on any M4A/M4P files that are purchased with Itunes 6. So if you haven't done so already, don't upgrade to 6.
