Intelligent music database

I wish I have the chance to reflect more knowledge in the database like relationships between musicians that belonged to different bands:

Example:
Generation X (Billy Idol, Tony James, James Stevenson ...)
| | |_ Gene Loves Jezebel (Jay Aston, Michael Aston, James Stevenson ...)
| |_ Sigue Sigue Sputnik (Martin Degville, Tony James ...)
|_ Solist |_ The Sisters of Mercy (Andrew Eldrich, Tony James ...)

There are fascinating connections between the bands which I would like to reflect as relationships. Not simply as tags used with autoplaylists. I'd like the musicians to become an object with attributes and relationships to each other.

To be able to play the career of a musician is one of my wishes.

I would really love to see this feature as well. This is the one area where Helium is way ahead of Mediamonkey, it already has an 'Artist relations' feature which works exactly as described in Nicky's post. If Mediamonkey had this capabilty, along with the promised Windows 7 native compatibilty, it would be just about perfect.
