I'm running on Windows XP using a standard Dell keyboard and Logitech USB headphone.

I downgraded to 1281 and did not experience the crash. I then upgraded back to 1282 and starting experiencing this crash again. The problem is very reliable for me and seems to be introduced in 1282. Is there any more info I can provide to help debug?

I can confirm this. I just downloaded 1282 and started playing a track. Then I changed the system volume from my keyboard and MM crashed immediately.

I'm running a Dell XPS M1530 Win7 64-bit and I changed the volume with the little keyboard touch buttons.

I also can confirm this. Using multimedia keys to change volume up/down immediately crashes MM.

Confirmed on my system too,

Win7 Ulitmate X64, changing volume via MS bluetooth multimedia keyboard 8000,
volume up and down both crash with 1282, worked fine as far back as I can remember.

Hello,

I have the same problem here on my Windows Vista system. I have a logitech G15 keyboard. When I press the volume buttons MediaMonkey crashes.

Not happening to me. What file format are you playing e.g. mp3, flac etc
What input plugin, output plugin,
any music enhancer e.g. DFX

I'm playing mp3.
Input plug-in: MediaMonkey MP3 player v2.0
Output plug-in: MediaMonkey DirectSound output
no music enhancers

Standaard ouput plugin of MediaMonkey
It happens with all kinds of songs (MP3, M4A, FLAC)
It's a clean install of the latest beta that you offer on this forum
I did not have this problem with the stable version
As soon as I press the volume button on my keyboard the MediaMonkey crashes.

This is my exact situation as well.

Same situation here. Change volume using Media Keys (either up or down) results in MM going kaboom. According to the debug build, there's a strack overflow.

3.1.2.1280 had broken the "Now Playing" gadget for me -- this works again with 3.1.2.1282. The only workaround ATM is to change the volume using the slider either within MM or the slider of the loudspeaker icon.

I can also confirm this... Using the volume up and down keys OR the MUTE button on my keyboard automatically crashes MM. I'm using Windows 7 32bit.

Yeah, forget to mention that it happens when pressing the "mute" button also on my keyboard.

I have Vista 64-bit installed with the latest service pack and all update from Microsoft.

Also I have the latest version of iTunes installed. Downloaded both iTunes and MediaMonkey yesterday.
