Hi,

I tried to install via the installer. I presume I just have to click "install.vbs", but then I get a runtime error, stating that object SDB is missing.

Any solutions?

Installer filename is DiscogsAutoTagWeb.mmip and you should open it with media monkey. (mmip probably means "media monkey install package")

Make sure you run MM as administrator first (if on Vista or 7) and then simply click the mmip file. It'll self-install. :)

Thanks, all is working now. What a great program this is, always used Tag&Rename but MediaMonkey with the Discogs plugin is really something for me!

Very happy now and once again, many thanks!

[Feature Request] discogsID Input

Post by Powder »

Hi,
first of all I would like to thank you for this GREAT script!!
One thing I miss in your script is the possibility to input the discogsID directly, if the auto-mode didn't find anything. This is possible if there are not enough informations in the tag or filename...
Would be great if you could implement it!
Greetings Powder

First of all, thank you so much for this add-on.

I was actually searching for external tagger when I found this little beauty.

I wanted to know if there was any way to incorporate the catalog number from the discogs database into the tagging?

If that could be done, this extension would be my one stop shop for tagging easily and efficiently!

Thanks you again for taking the time to make this wonderful extension.

It's implemented too! Check custom fields, you'll see catalog number, release id and country/region :)

Super, seems I hadn't even chose the discogs addon on the get tags from web. Silly me.

Now I have another conundrum. Here's the album I have
http://www.discogs.com/Daft-Punk-Alive- ... se/1351093

This has mutliple tracks on the same track number but the tagger only recognizes the first one leading to bad file names.
Is there any way to consolidate the track names so that, for example, the first would be Robot Rock / Oh Yeah

The link to the installer programme. All I get are time out errors.

Quick Install:

Here's the installer link for the impatient: Install Latest Version, others keep on reading please.

This is such a wicked live recording album and track numbering is incorrect according to discogs guidelines:

I'd suggest tagging such complex albums by hand :)

I can't use Discogs Tagger anymore. :( Since a few weeks I get this message:
Cannot query the web site - DTD is prohibited.
I verified my API number, logged Off/On from the site, nothing seems to make it get through...

Any idea?

Thanks
