When I synchronize the flash in my blackberry curve all goes well except for the m3u playlist that gets created.
I sync to a folder call "Music" and I sync into AlbumArtist\Album\title
The playlist that gets created lists tunes as follows:
\Music\Danger Doom\The Mouse and the Mask\Benzie Box.mp3
\Music\Art Brut\Bang Bang Rock & Roll\My Little Brother.mp3
\Music\I Am Kloot\Gods And Monsters\No Direction Home.mp3
However, the BB reads this playlist and finds none of the songs. With a little trial and error I found if I edit the playlist as follows, the Blackberry will recognize the playlist:
.\Danger Doom\The Mouse and the Mask\Benzie Box.mp3
.\Art Brut\Bang Bang Rock & Roll\My Little Brother.mp3
.\I Am Kloot\Gods And Monsters\No Direction Home.mp3
I don't see any way to configure the playlist generation in the options.
"send to-> sync" -- configure format of exporte

I just discovered MediaMonkey today and I love it.
I'm syncing to my daughter's Motorola RIZR Z3 phone that has a built-in MP3 player. Everything works great except the playlists. My problem is very similar to vphreeze's problem - the RIZR wants to see two changes to the m3u file that MediaMonkey copies to the phone:
1. It wants forward slashes instead of backslashes.
2. It wants a lowercase 'b' prepended to the path.
For example, the RIZR Z3 wants the m3u file to look like this:
If I hand edit the MediaMonkey-generated m3u file with those changes, the RIZR Z3 sees the playlist perfectly, otherwise, it says I have an empty playlist. Is there a script for this? (I used the forum search, but couldn't find it.) Is there a script I could modify slightly? Any other ideas?
Thanks,
-Rob
