Anti-Apple User!! (exporting playlists & file conversion

Post by nicksholl »

Hi guys:

I hate apple but love Itunes which puts me in a dillemma!

I am trying to make a load of playlists for my Creative Zen. I have made the playlists with the original filenames and was hoping I could simply export a playlist thru MM. Would my Creative software read a .m3u playlist?

This doesn't work as MM doesn't read certain file types (presumably Apple only files?). Is there a simple way of converting these files in a way which simply replaces the shitty Apple file into one the rest of the world can deal with? (For example through Itunes itself ("Convert to mp3) - the main thing I'm after is that the file is converted so that I can be rid of Itunes only files!!

THANKS.
