How do I get this image with a blended fade from dark (left) to light (right) to extend to the full width of the skin without repeating itself and ruining the effect.

Why is the image file different from others that do automatically stretch to fit?

I am using "The Gimp" for graphic editing.

i believe that image is just programed that way.

it appears to be a short image that will infact repeat its self.
so it is best to make it a solid image as far as i can see.?

That's what I thought to.

I tried making it longer but it just reduces the amount of repeats.

I guess I may have to just make it a solid as you say but it doen't make any sense why it would be that way?

you are talking about the frame bottom image. and not the form client bottom image?

the frame bottom image is just the outline around the client image in the frame images
so it is going to be only a few pixels high and need to repeat.?

the form client image for the bottom is the blue line you see on the bottom of the media monkey program when in full screen mode.

so which is it your talking about, just to make sure we are on the same image.
