Is there a known problem with Transfer Playlist Entries and auto-sync?

On MM 1708 and ADFF 3.8.2.149, I used Transfer Playlist Entries on two tracks such that they were dropped from the auto-sync playlists. But then auto-sync "Delete other files and playlists from the device: Unselected Library files" failed to delete them, even after exit and relaunch.

It is as if some internal pointer is not being updated.

Workaround: delete the files manually from the device.

Any chance of a fix?

Feature Request:

If I use "Folders with Same Content" and delete all the tracks in one of the "identical" folders, an empty folder itself should be deleted too. Otherwise, I have to search for empty folders with a specialized 3rd party tool in an additional cleaning step.
Maybe this could be an option like "Delete empty folder"?

It would be even easier, if we could delete an entire folder "with same content" instead of selecting all the tracks inside and then press DELETE. Actually, this option is disabled on a folder.

What do you think?

Question/Feature idea:
I'd like to replace some of my older MP3 music with a new rip or switch to flac but I don't want to loose pictures or ratings of the current mp3. I would love to have a dialog while ripping a CD like"Oh, these songs are already part of your library, would you like to replace them (but keeping pics and ratings) with a high quality or looseless rip instead?"
Would this be possible
thx in advance :)

For terrypin,
Go to the first page > go all the way down to the second post > look above the second post to the bottom of the first post.
Use the first link called "Addons Page", not the second M3 installer.

Got it, thanks! And turning my iPad to portrait mode instead of landscape makes it even more obvious.

Are their any updates for Duplicate Finder? When I installed it said it would work with 3.8.2.149 & I have MM 4.1.8.1751 Nothing I do works for it to show up. I installed it by double clicking & it shows in MM. I ran MM as admin, but still it is grayed out under extensions. Any idea what I am doing wrong or is it too far out of date to work anymore?

I'm not sure what I'm missing here, unless this isn't working the way it should in MM4? Here's the scenario:

I added tracks to MM. I sync'd them to an external drive, where some tag editing took place. Somewhere in between the time of adding and syncing, the original files were moved to a different location and some were purposely deleted. Upon sync'ing BACK to MM, the files went back to the original location (pre-move). There are now old/new files in 2 locations. I could easily dump the new files into the old location, however now I would have no way of knowing which tracks I deleted or kept... UNLESS I search for duplicates, delete the dupes that are in the old location, and then I can delete the entire old location. Make sense? How can I do it? I can't find anything in the node to search in a particular location, or locations. Ideally, I would like to be able to do this by searching within a "date added" range, as well.

I've got MM4 Gold and this script is only partially functional. When I try to create keep/delete suggestion nodes, the create nodes button on the dialog is grey and cannot be selected and the hotkey doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong here?

OK, fixed my problem by making sure songID was last field.

Hi everyone,

I reripped my entire library and was hoping this last step, namely to replace the old mp3s with the newly ripped ALAC/Flac files would be the easy part... As it turnes out, I need help :-? Can anyone confirm, that the script still works with the current builds of MM?

Has anyone successfully re-ripped their CD collection, with metadata such as playcounts, date added in tact after running the script or is there a better option available?

Will the script successfully replace playlists based on the older mp3 files with the new lossless files?

I appreciate your feedback and any recent experience on this!

Yes, it works and does all that.
