Casting irregularly breaks after switching to different renderer

MMA 2.0.0.1159

I am casting to 2 Bose speakers (chromecast built in).
It sometimes happens that when casting to one speaker for a while and then stopping casting and starting casting to the other speaker, MMA cannot cast anymore. In that situation MMA starts playback on the second speaker for a second and then stops immediately.
At that point MMA cannot cast to any of the two speakers any more.
Sometimes MMA shows a notification that the renderer does not support the format of the song. But this is wrong as the same song could be casted before. At the same time MMA is no longer able to cast, VLC player is able to cast to the speaker.
So I have a strong suspicion that MMA is causing the problem.

Hi,
I do not have Bose speakers, but I tried switching to those that I have and was unable to replicate.

Today it happened again.
I was casting a playlist to one of the Bose speakers. Without any interaction of me MMA started to repeat one song over and over again. Then I stopped the casting connection and tried to reconnect and got the same error as mentioned in my last post: "renderer does not support the format of the song"

It was conspicuous that the smartphone's hardware volume keys were not able to control casting volume, but only controlled device volume. I have seen this volume issue several times, but could not identify the trigger so far.

After leaving the smartphone with screen turned off, the issue disappeared by itself.

Thanks! We've released build 1160 as a beta and it should fix this. Can you let us know if it solves the problem?

Thanks you!

-Rusty

p.s. To test MediaMonkey beta builds:
- in MMA, tap Options | About | Register for test builds.
- if you don't have MMA installed, register directly via Google Play at: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/co ... ediamonkey
Once you're registered, then your next update will be to the current MMA beta. To update immediately, go to MediaMonkey in the Play store and click 'Update'.

I will give feedback if 1161 is released, as for me this bug makes MMA unusable for casting atm:

With a short testing of MMA 1165 I just saw the notification "renderer does not support the format of the song" but MMA continued playing.

I am seeing a few more casting issues like this one:

Log ID: CAH3PHQGPT
Description: MMA skipped 2. song of playlist, played 3. song and stopped playback after 3. song. Casting connection seemed to be lost, but after pressing play, playback of 2. song continued.

Edit: Casting connection was however kind of broken, as volume control of the speaker through was not possible anymore:

Shall I post all these casting issues here or in different threads?

Here is another log where volume control of the chromecast speaker is not possible:
Log ID: IBG87HVEY1

The volume keys of the phone just triggered the system volume of the phone.
After switching between multiple apps and returning to MMA the volume keys suddenly controlled the chromecast device as expected.

And another log.
MMA kind of reproducibly loses casting connection after playback of 25 to 30 songs. I am not sure if it is relevant, but phone screen was turned off since playback of first song.

Description: MMA lost casting connection after about 30 minutes of streaming.

By the way... The same hardware constellation was just able to stream music via Deezer app for 4 hours non stop.

Could you give some feedback if further information is needed to fix this issue?
