Copy and replace Add-On MM5

Hey guys,
Would anyone please be able to create a copy and replace file add-on for MM5 please?
I am always updating files and I don't like to have doubles in my library so I would really love an add-on that replaces same type files like Music Videos, Music, Video ect.. and replaces them with every data field, play counts, skipped, last played, moods ect.... And after it's copied delete the old file..
Not sure how hard an add-on is to make like this so maybe it's not a simple thing... but man it would be super useful and save me so much time..
