Andorid phone that is powerful enough ?

Post by nelet »

MMA version 2 seems to need a much more powerful android phone than the previous version. So tell me on which phone it works smoothly. Or what kind of processor is sufficient (maybe based on this list: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-list/rating).

Hi,
I have been testing MMA on even low cost devices to latest ones. There is number of factors influence speed of app, like RAM, NAND speed (both internal and SDCard), Storage controller, Boundleware, ... Also number of files influence this.

When we come to low-cost devices on some work on some don't, usually 2GB of RAM is more than enough and Android 9+ is recommended due the optimization. Also Internal Storage is faster than SDCards.
Best regards,

It even works great on my 5 year old Samsung S9 and still can be used on my ancient S4 mini.
