MMA hangs up on "Check for new/changed media"

Post by chuckj2109 »

I am using MMA Pro on a Samsung Galaxy S10+. The music database is stored in main storage and consists of 58,325 music files (mostly mp3, some flac), in 3,254 folders and subfolders comprising 196 GB. MMA Pro has never assimilated the entire database. For example, the database contains 71 albums by the late Canadian pianist Glenn Gould but MMA only shows 3 of them. If I select "Check for new/changed media" it starts scanning but quits after only a few seconds. I do not try to sync with the MM5 Pro on my Windows 10 computer nor do I feel the need to do so. I want MMA on my phone to be completely free-standing so I can take it on the road.

Suggestions, anyone?

Hi,
It should be fixed in MMA 2 may I ask you to apply and download MMA 2 beta by going to ⋮ -> About MediaMonkey -> Register for beta test
