The notification bar disappears again after about 5 to 10 minutes. When the notification bar disappears, it is enough to pause the music and the notification bar is there again. And then it stays there as long as I play music with MMA.

The problem only reappears when I haven't used MMA for a while.

The Notification Bar is set to 10 minutes in MMA.

I have the problem in both MMA1 and MMA2 Beta.

I have Android 11.

Do you possibly have Samsung device? If yes please check App Info and make sure that Battery Optimization is disabled for MMA. Also does MMA notification vanishes even when you play tracks and Phone Screen goes off?

Have no Samsung device.

Need to check the other points.

Sure, with each MMA build we are improving background optimization, but it is difficult to predict what changes manufacturers make. Samsung is known to be aggressive, think OnePlus devices also (but not sure).

Can you share bit more details on your device and do you use any system optimizer apps?

OnePlus 7TPro. Android 11. No system optimizer apps.

Yes, I'm testing right now with this setting. But the app doesn't quit, it's just the notification bar that disappears while playing. MMA continues to play as well.

Hmm interesting. I have never seen this behavior. Can you please try to change setting at ☰ -> Settings -> UI and Set Show Notifications ALWAYS. You can also see if changing Type of notification eg. SMALL, LARGE, SYSTEM and help too if OnePlus modified OS notification engine to their liking.
