After updating to the latest version of MMA2, the app crashes when I click on the cast icon. I have already tried clearing the app cache in the Android settings, without success. In previous beta versions of MMA2, casting ran without problems.

The app crashes right after I click the cast icon. The list of destination devices is not displayed.

This issue has been fixed in beta build 2.0.0.1061. Can you confirm whether it solves the problem for you?

note: build 1061 was just released to beta on the Play store. It'll likely take a few hours for it to become available.

Just an fyi, for anyone else that was still experiencing this issue. Another fix to a related case of this bug was included in build 1065.

The app crashes right after the destination device has been selected. Google Chromecast

Huh, bit older device, by code it seams that device is Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro?

Please as soon as it crashes and you restart MM use ☰ -> ? -> Send Log -> Write log ID here before you send it so that we know what to look for.

unfortunatelly it seems that MMA was killed by system for unknown reason.
Your devices is quite old so maybe some memory issues.
Does the issue occur when after your device is restarted?
Isn't the issue dependent on the currently playing song, for example?
We will release new BETA build 2.0.0.1153, there are fixes related to casting and related libraries are updated.
Hopefully it will help. Anyway I was unable to replicate it on Android 6 device.

Here my answer:
The app restart and try to recover the cast connection and crash again and again restart and again crash.
It concern the song, no issues happen when dlna connection is used to play every song with TVs
