Hello,

i have intallede and embedded MiniLyrics in MediaMonkey. It works very well.
But i have Problems to copy the lyrics automaticaly in the ID3Tag of the MP3 files.
I clict on the option>Lyrics>Save lyrics in mp 3 file!! But it doesent work

please sent mi how to configure this.
Or perhaps it doesent work with MediaMonkey? And you can correct this error?

It does work, you need to rescan the files (File > Add/rescan) or use the File Monitor (Options > File Monitor) so that the tracks in MM are updated with the new tags changed by Minilyrics. You also have to make sure you save the lyrics to the correct tag so MM can read it (ID3v2 unsynchronized). Lastly you have to wait until the track stops playing and a new track starts to play before Minilyrics can tag the file.

YES, it works with the File Monitor (Options > File Monitor) and ID3v2 unsynchronized!!!

Hi, I'm having trouble getting ML to work.
I've read through the entire thread looking for a solution.

The problem:
After installing ML and the embedder, the panel loads automatically with MM but no lyrics appear.

Attempted solutions:
- Re-installing ML and the embedder
- During installation make sure that the MediaMonkey option is selected
- Closing and re-opening MM
- Re-booting after installation
- Making sure that the .ddl files, and all other files suggested in this thread, exist and are where they are supposed to be.
- Installing ML directly in the MM folder, as well as in the progfile86 folder
- Right-clicking on the panel to change skin, transparency etc. However, and this is key, when right clicking on the panel NOTHING happens. No menu shows up for me to change skins. I have even gone as far as deleting the Fantasy folder in the skins of ML, since most people in the forum seem to blame this skin for the problem. However to no avail. There is no ML microphone icon in the menu bar, so I can't click on it to change skin and other settings there either. Minilyrics Panel does show up in the View menu, and is activated.
- Tools Menu/Options/Player/General Plug-ins. Here there is only one choice, called MiniLyrics for Winamp. I click on it, then on Configuration button. Nothing appears. I need to click on another window and then go back to MM or otherwise MM stays frozen.
- Clicking on ML in the Windows Start Menu to get it re-started. A window opens with two columns, Miniyrics and Status, both completely empty.
- Running MM as administrator

I am running the latest Gold version of MM on Win7.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the exact same problem. If anyone has any ideas how to fix this, it would be much appreciated. Floating lyrics work, but not the normal ones.

See poster above. I have the same issue. It just happened about a week ago, for no particular reason I can see.

BTW, the confirmation code creatures are all animals. I suspect that the confirmation text means to say 'Mammals'.

The situation has improved a little. I now have Minilyrics embedded OK.

This is what I did (following some advice from Henry at Minilyrics)

I ran Restart Minilyrics from the start bar, selected Minilyrics for MediaMonkey and then right mouse clicked on MiniLyrics panel, and could then see the MiniLyrics context menu. Then click "Skins" > "Modern" or other skins that don't uses the translucency of windows.

If MiniLyrics window is embedded in other window, you may get this issue.

i tried your solution but it didn't work at all. if i want to restart mini-lyrics, it will say media monkey is not running.
i even tried to use a older version of minilyrics without any outcome.
now, i cannot get lyricator nor minilyrics to work. i really would like to have the lyrics still tagged with my music collection..

Something is wrong with your minilyrics installation. It has nothing to do with the embedder. Try to reinstall and make sure you check support for MediaMonkey when you install.

nope, the installation was fine.
i found on page 20 the solution. i have just switched the skin to plain and it works fine now. i am really happy that i am able to watch the lyrics to my newer songs

Not sure. But it seems that the new version works fine in MM with the embedder. I haven't noticed much of any difference yet.

You uninstall it via the control panel (add/remove programs).

once installed how do u change the miniLyrics settings
what if I want to search for the lyric or upload
or use the lyric editor
it seems this embed thing is useless
all it does is remove the taskbar button
(which is appreciated )
however the functionality of the app is totally lost once you embed it
I would also argue that the floating lyrics mode looks better anyway

So until someone can tell me how to access the minilyrics settings and functions
while the bar is embedded I would suggest not embedding and just floating the
lyrics in unless you just dont care and most people proly dont ... so for them it's still useful

So is it possible to access the MiniLyrics settings and functions when embeded ???????
